So I started my week on Monday as usual and the BOOM! I get a phone call from the school nurse saying my daughter was running a 101.0 fever. So immediately, I gathered my things and left with my daughter.  Inside, I wondered, should I take her to the doctor, or wait? Do you ever have that fight with yourself? Well, being the awesome parent that I am, LOL, I decided to make her an appointment. Well, needless to say......this sickness has taken over three days of our week.
So Here's to Being Healthy!
As my mother-in-law Grace DeFelice, always says, "Health is Wealth".
My daughter is finally feeling better so...on with the show!

Since I have been home for a few days, well between two doctors visits and a visit to the pharmacy, I had some time to work on some products coming soon! Here is a sneak peek!

End of the Year Survival Kit/Gift
I just added these things to my gift idea!
Check them out. All you have to do is print (also available in black and white) and add 3 dice to your bucket.

This will be available as part of my download.
Also, if there is something you would like me to add, simply leave me a comment. As long as it doesn't take too long, I will add it to this packet or even customize a packet/bucket for your needs.

Completely Editable
Thanks to the FREE borders from
ASHLEY HUGES

This Summer Survival Kit Includes
DIG: Sand Bucket with Shovel
BUBBLY: Bubbles
COLORFUL: Sidewalk Chalk
SWEET: Candy
KOOL: KoolAid in a fun Water bottle and/or Straw
Then I printed a sweet note from me to tie onto the bucket. All of these items were purchased from The Dollar Tree.

I have included these colors, plus a black and white version if you didn't want to print in color.

 Hello Organization: Teacher Binder
Coming Soon....
I am completely NUTS about being organized, maybe that is why I married a man who claims to be OCD. Check out these sneak peek images of this binder in the works.
If there is something you just have to have added, please leave a comment on this blog and I will gladly add it.

SHHH......SNEAK PEEK
This should be available in my TPT store within the next week or so.

I am actually going to order this image on an 8 1/2 by 11 perforated notebook. I wanted something to meet my needs while planning, ON THE GO! Then I can only take only one page home with me when I actually type up my plans. The large teal area is saved for notes and "TO DO" type things.

Is anyone interested in this?
If you want this product tiered to your own needs, please leave me a comment and I can make that for you.

Winners of the Mother's Day Giveaway!
So sorry, I have not sent these out yet, but my daughter ended up getting sick and it put me behind a few days- you will get your FREE downloads by Sunday.

The End of the Year is Almost Here; well at least where I am teaching!
We only have 5 days left.

Here are some fun products to engage your students those last few weeks of school.

Splash Math Results
Here are the final results of the Springboard Challenge my students participated in for 6 weeks.
We are still waiting to hear if we won the iPads or not. They said they will announce the winners by May 30th. I will keep you all posted.
WOW! I'm so impressed!
This only shows our 1st Grade Data.
I have had many students advance to 2nd -4th grade math.

I am now using this data to help determine end of the year grades for my students.
I am so surprised at one student's growth based on his Splash Math results. I could have NEVER pulled these results out of him through the paper:pencil technique.

Here is a screen shot of these results:
So I looked at the accuracy to determine the overall grade (1, 2, 3, 4) for each child in each math area.   We also took an end of the year major assessment and it confirmed these results.
I hope you take the time to enjoy Splash Math in your own classroom.

I literally love your end of the year student gift idea. I have been racking my brain with what to give to my middles. I think I will have to change it a little bit since they will be 8th graders next year, but you have really got my mind going now. Thanks so much!!!
